ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The Kaplan turbine is an axial reaction water turbine with radial inflow and axial outflow. It is designed for high flow rates and low heads. Kaplan turbines achieve excellent efficiency across a wide range of flow conditions, often exceeding 92%. Thanks to the adjustable runner blades and guide vanes, they offer highly flexible operation and are commonly used in run-of-river and low-head hydroelectric power plants.
